"Too Hot to Handle" is the seventh episode of Season 3 of Robin Hood and the 33rd episode of the series as a whole.

Prince John and Guy of Gisborne watch with jealousy and anger as Robin Hood and Isabella share a particularly ripe strawberry in the middle of a heatwave. Prince John orders Guy to kill them both, whereupon Guy shackles them together and orders Isabella to kill Robin, whereupon she pretends to agree and helps Robin to knock Guy unconscious, whereupon Isabella tries to kill Guy, and Robin stops her. They try to unblock the route to the spring, but just as they succeed, Guy locks them in the room to drown. Sir Guy attains one of his life goals when Prince John appoints him Sheriff of Nottingham. Isabella tells Robin all her sappy dreams for their future together, he makes a ridiculous arrow shot, Isabella strips to her underclothes and they perform a paintaksingly labroious ten-foot climb into the dungeon. Isabella tries to talk Robin out of rescuing Kate, and Robin tells her she can keep her dreams to herself. Sir Guy and Prince John break in on this scene, whereupon Prince John fires Sir Guy, whereupon Sir Guy draws a sword on Prince John, Isabella draws a torch on Robin, and a very complicated fight ensues, which ends with Guy, Kate, and Robin running away, and Prince John and Isabella falling into the roomful of freezing water. They return to restore water to the villagers of Locksley, and Robin broods over his lost chance at happiness as a family man.
