Nottingham Town is the largest village in Nottinghamshire and is the location of Nottingham Castle, the home of the sheriff. It is the site of a number of attempted executions, which are usually foiled by Robin Hood and his band, who often sneak into the town to rescue villagers (and each other). Lady Marian and her father live here after their home is burned down by Guy of Gisborne.
